Thai car output rises 13.8% in March

MARKETWATCH: Thailand's vehicle production and exports continued to rise in March on the back of continuing economic growth, the Federation of Thai Industries said Wednesday.

Vehicle production rose 13.8% from a year earlier to 172,004 units in March, buoyed by the introduction of new car models, higher purchasing power among farmers due to stronger agricultural prices, and rising export demand, it said.
